Resolutions

He said: Well, here we are, at the cusp of another year.  To be honest, I’m kind of ready to say good riddance to 2009.

She said:  Me too.  It was kind of a rough year.  First my PCOS diagnosis, then your azoospermia diagnosis.  Add in two failed IUIs, and yes, I’m pretty much ready to kick 2009 to the curb!

He said:  Any resolutions for next year?

She said:  Ha!  You know my track record with those!  But I hope I can continue being serious about the whole eating and exercise thing.  I believe it’s making a difference and I hope it helps my fertility.

He said: Oh yes.  Banishing all holiday treats as we you type.  I’m sure we aren’t the only ones out there who will be back to hitting the gym and filling our fridge and cupboards with fertility-friendly foods.

She said:  What about you?  Any big resolutions for 2010?

He said:  This year I resolve to become a dad.

She said:  Wow!  That’s a pretty tall order!

He said:  Maybe.  But mark my words, Heather.  This is going to be our year.  And to all of those great Conceive readers out there, I believe it’s going to be your year too.  Here’s to leaving infertility behind!

She said:  I love that you’re Mr. Optimism.  Love it!

He said: I’m serious here.  This is it.  We’re going to do it.  Dear readers, we are ALL going to get our wish.

They said:  Happy New Year to you all!  Here’s to a 2010 filled with BFP’s and happy, healthy babies!

I love your posts. It is so refreshing to find another man suffering from azoo, who is willing to share his experiences and the banter between the two of you is great. Thanks1

Thanks everyone! It means a lot to both Kieran and I to get your feedback and support.

Jen: sorry about AF - that's never easy. But hoping that optimism kicks in and that we hear some good news from you soon!

Angel and Mommmyinwaiting: Thanks so much to you both! Funny enough our banter probably sounds pretty much the same in real life - we're all about the humour in the midst of all of this here!

Wishing you all a Happy New Year -- hope that 2010 is great for you all!
